How can I even start?
This trip started off with me being super scared of travelling to Africa alone, but it was probably the best decision I ever made. The experiences you get here are something you can only get here! I felt safe during my whole stay and I now have the craziest, happiest and most loving memories of this place.
Everything was awesome – from the people you meet to waking up to rhinos walking outside your window, to getting the closest you’ll ever be to a giraffe on the back of a horse, to sleeping under the stars in the back of a truck, and not to mention the Hwange national park-trip… It’s just so difficult to describe how cool this was…
Being able to support these amazing people and all the hard work they put into protecting the animals and nature is something truly unique, and I don’t think you’ll find one single volunteer regretting their stay at Antelope Park. This place is so unique that it’s hard to describe with words – not to mention all the new friendships.
I may physically be back in Denmark but my heart stays in Zimbabwe.
