Make a difference, with your Family – with Community, Horses and Wildlife!

The Family Adventure

And why it’s amazing!

Volunteer Encounter offers a unique family-friendly experience that blends African adventure with meaningful impact. Embark on the adventure of a lifetime with our family programme in Antelope Park Game Reserve in Zimbabwe. Together you’ll create lasting  memories with the abundant wildlife at Antelope Park while also making a positive difference in the conservation and community development of  Zimbabwe.

We are able to tailor the programme to your specific family needs if your children are younger – experience Africa with your loved ones like never before!

About the Location

Antelope Park is 3500 acres of Private Game Reserve next to the town of Gweru in the the Midlands Province of Zimbabwe. Perfectly situated roughly half way between the two major cities, Harare and Bulawayo, it is easily accessible.

The park itself nestles in a striking setting – Savannah grasslands, Woodland and Riverine areas, big sky horizons – the natural beauty of Zimbabwe. The camp is situated on a beautiful watercourse area which draws the game and gorgeous waterbirds up close as they frolic and refresh themselves.

You will be sharing the location with a gorgeous variety of antelope, zebra, giraffe, elephant, rhino, lions in their own area and hundreds of marvellous African birds.
