Gabriela Second time visiting Antelope Park

Sharing is caring!

I first visited Antelope Park in 2023, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience—so much so that I had to go back.

I returned in December 2024, and just like the first time, it completely blew my mind.

AP is the kind of place where strangers become lifelong friends and where you can rediscover yourself in the most unexpected ways. From waking up at 5:00 AM to saddle up your favourite horse for a breathtaking sunrise ride, to spending the morning at the orphanage, to returning for an unforgettable elephant walk in the afternoon, every moment is filled with adventure. And just when you think the day couldn’t get any better, a hilarious game night with newfound friends wraps it up perfectly.

As a doctor and with the help of Antelope Park, I hope that one day I’ll be able to bring some of the knowledge and skills I’ve gathered throughout my career to make a small difference in Gweru. I’ve fallen in love with the people, the culture, and the wildlife. Zimbabwe simply holds a special place in my heart.

If you’re hesitating about visiting this haven, don’t. AP is every bit as magical as people say, and it will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.
