Scholarship – $1,000
Volunteer Encounter Scholarship Application
We exist because we believe that volunteering is a form of sustainable tourism. It minimises the negative impact of tourist-based activities on the environment by contributing to maintaining and enhancing conservation through the return of revenues to protected areas, and the physical contribution of man-hours where needed.
Our goal: to educate the world about wildlife conservation & community challenges in Africa.
However, we also recognise the challenges that come from other parts of the world, such as the financial implications associated with earning a degree.
We believe education is the only way forward to resolving the problems we face here in Africa and around the world, which is precisely why we are offering a USD $1,000 scholarship to a college student in the United States.
