Going to Antelope Park has truly changed me as a person. I had the most incredible time — meeting so many amazing people, from the staff to the volunteers, and forming friendships that I will always treasure. Every part of the experience was unforgettable: the wildlife activities, learning about the animals, and gaining so much knowledge from Calvin and Liam — their passion and expertise were fascinating. Being able to actually learn to ride with Ted was an experience I’ll never forget.
Working in the communities was life-changing. Visiting the soup kitchen, the orphanage, and the school opened my eyes to so much and gave me a perspective on life I didn’t have before. Seeing the dedication, love, and hard work of people like Rosine, Tana, Sue, and Pastor Patrick was inspiring beyond words.
I honestly can’t put into words what that place has done for me as a person. I come away with a completely different attitude and a whole new sense of feeling — more grateful, more aware, and more inspired than I ever imagined.
The daily activities at the park were such a highlight. I really enjoyed the game counts — every day brought something new and exciting. Going to the Boma and helping with the elephants was incredible; by my last week, they recognised me, which was truly special. Being able to see the lions up close and spending time with all the animals at the park left me in awe — I will always be in wonder of the wildlife there. Every single experience, from the big moments to the small daily tasks, made the time at the park unforgettable.
Living, laughing, and sharing life with everyone at the park made this experience even more special. I honestly wish I could stay there permanently. Zimbabwe has captured my heart, and Antelope Park will always have a very special place in my life. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
